Arietta is the Captain of the Royal Guard, often praised for her unshakeable loyalty to Grand Empress Ananke and Princess Astrid and for her absolute command and composure even in the face of the most severe perils. In her duty to protect the princess at all costs, she eventually became friends with Astrid and promised to accompany her on her daring adventures around the universe. Also accompanying her is a small companion robot called Bi-bom bot, engineered by a tinkerer named Liedryyn who is renowned throughout the Tatran capital city of Aludra for his perfecting of these robots. Bi-bom bot is a much needed break from Arietta’s seriousness as he will stop at nothing to amuse her (when the timing is appropriate, of course).

Arietta possesses extraordinary strength and her superior eyesight make her an excellent marksman. There are occasionally those her challenge her might but she has never once been defeated.
