MYTHRANS
MYTHRANS
ECHOES OF MYTHINDRA
Of the lesser Farers who began emerging from the Multitude after the Cosmic Wills, Mythindra was perhaps the first whose works of creation were not inevitable or accidental, but bore intention. She was enamored with the moons orbiting the planets across the universe and traveled to each of them; inspired by the unique vibrations emanating from them, she produced the first of her lineage: the Mythrans.
Mythrans are vibrant, horned creatures who bear the same silver white-colored hair of Mythindra. It is held by some that their horns once served a purpose similar to the antennae of insects, by which they perceived distinct sounds and frequencies borne in the air. This capability, however, may have withered over the eons as modern day Mythrans still possess horns but not the studied function. Mythrans are also dimorphous, one form generally more humanoid for attracting mates or even humans and the other more bestial and often animalistic or feral.
MYTHRAN PACTS
Originally devised by early Navan Mythrans as a means of safely escaping the Overneath, these agreements between Mythrans and humans were meant to offer a boon to the human who offered passage through the barrier. These agreements were recognized by Nava’s demigods as the only condition by which Mythrans were allowed this passage. Violators of such were ordered to be hunted down and eliminated. Although many of them viewed the Overneath as submission rather than sanctuary, most Mythrans understood that they were severely outnumbered by humans and overpowered by the demigods, thus attempts to circumvent these terms could only endanger their kind.
