MIRITH

Mirith, sometimes Mirith Firstborn, is one of the oldest Farers and one of the few that briefly made a home on Earth. She is mentioned in the Leash of Chaos as the Third Force, or one that was birthed from the collision of Antistrophe and Radiance, who became one of the ultimate guiding forces in the universe. When she went down into the Multitude, she took the form of a beautiful woman with fiery red hair in a braided crown atop her head.

While many of the first Farers toiled over the labors of creation, Mirith drifted into a state of complacency for the vast emptiness of the cosmos and conceived the original disparity. Her breath produced heat and cold, thus beginning a cycle of life and death. To her, the perpetuity of the Farers was meaningless without the possibility and consequence of death. There was a supreme power in her imagination, which spawned many of the universe’s greatest mysteries.

Mirith has no allegiances to speak of, at least none that anyone (not even the other Farers) could fathom. It is rumored that during her time on Earth she had several offspring but their identities and whereabouts are unknown.
