Ricardo is a formidable fighter who specializes in modified firearms, most notably his signature Emperor Revolver, which he sometimes playfully refers to as El Justo. He has incredibly keen eyes and his marksmanship is renowned throughout Mexico, especially his hometown of Mérida. Locals rave that at the tenth anniversary of the Festival Yucateco de los Gemelos where he fired a single shot through a series of torches as the sun set that stretched for nearly four kilometers, each one of them extinguished. Celebrated ever since, Ricardo appears at the festival every year as a gesture of good will and showmanship to ensure that his people feel a sense of safety in having a local hero.

Ricardo is a mechanical engineer for a subsidiary of EXOSPHERE specializing in ballistics and mobile weapons development. He met his current boyfriend Kendro Valladão while traveling through the American Midwest. They met under a heavy snow, the first time either of them had ever seen it. The two now enjoy traveling the world together quite a bit. In getting to know more and more about Kendro’s troubled family history, he has developed a steadfast desire to help him hunt down a demon that may have tormented them.
